Saleen 23's

Anyone have these? Any opinions about them? 23 seems like a weird size but for $500 they might be a good pickup. I'm not a big chrome fan and would probably get them powdercoated. Thanks.

I bought and received some from a member on here last week by the name of Jspec. I would check to see if has any more if I was you. He's also a seller on Ebay with great feedback. I think that a few members on here bought some from him. I'm going to powdercoat mine also. My friend owns a powder coating business and told me if I'm going to powder coat em' try to get the silver ones not the chrome, I guess its easier or something. Do a search for 23" Saleen wheels and some threads will show up. Trust me I was a little on the edge at first also. I was wondering why is everyone selling these $3000 wheels for so cheap. If you find out let me know, lol.

The only drawback is tire selection is limited compared to 22's and 24's.

True. I noticed that now. I am a fan of one tire for these wheels that Saleen is also using. The tire is the Continental Cross Contact

I have heard 2 reasons:

1.) Plant Closing in MI
2.) Not that many S331s being sold. You can see this with Roush also. Lots of parts being sold off on the cheap. (heard this one when I called Saleen to make sure the ones I bought werent a "back of the truck" set)
