Leveling Kit

Hi,
My f150 seems to sit lower in the front. As seen here: http://carad.ebayimg.com/i5/02/a/000/79/8b/0dd7_4.JPG

Excuse the potentially stupid question, here but is that what the Leveling Kit 'levels'?

Here's one I saw for sale online.

http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...con/22905.html

Assuming this is the one to get, how tough it is to do this at home?

Do a search on ebay for the Autospring kits. I picked mine up for I think $70 shipped to my door.

Here's the thread I used for the install.

I did it one afternoon pretty much by myself. It's not very difficult at all. Make sure you get an alignment once you put one on.

There are two types of leveling kits. Spacers, like you found, that raise the front and lowering shackles that lower the rear. You just need to decide what direction you want to go with your truck, street truck (lower the rear) or off road (raise the front).

Would not get the spacers like you linked. Installation is alot harder! Get the ones that bolt on to the existing strut!

Well, I guess this is the one since it specifically mentions 'front lift':

Or maybe this is better since it is a 2 1/2" lift?

Joe,

Is your truck 2wd? If so, I would just get the 2" level kit unless you are going to raise the rear as well. I have a 2wd with the 2" Autospring and my fenders measure dead even from the ground. 2.5" will make your front end higher.

Thanks Dihlon, it is 2wd (and I was leaning to get the 2 1/2")......
