need a little help

I have been searching and searching, but cannot seem to get a good answer anywhere. I have an 06 scab fx4 with 20's and the crappy pirelli's that came stock. looking into getting some nitto terra grapplers and was wondering what everyone thinks. heard good and bad things some say they wear out after 25k but some say good until 40-45k, also wondering if the 305-55-20 would fit without a lift or leveling kit thanks guys

Yes, the 305/55-20's will fit your 4x4 without a leveling kit if you are using the oem wheels. They could be a tight fit with some wider aftermarket wheels with shallow backspacing. The Terra Grapplers are an excellent tire with a great reputation, plus they are reasonably priced. Other good choices would be the BFG AT KO, Toyo AT, Pro Comp Xtreme AT, Mickey Thompson ATZ or **** Cepek FC II.

Good question. There probably is no reason they should be. You would hope the Toyo's had a tighter quality control or were a little better performing, but I doubt it.

Its because the Toyo's are a ten ply tire, where as the Nitto is only 6. More material, more cost.
