I have a 2006 XLT 4+4 w/ stock rims and tires.
235/75/17
Whats the biggest tire I can put on the stock rims.
I hate this size but, can't afford any other rims right now.
Looking for some AT tires for the winter weather and hunting in Nebraska

your best size would be 285/70R17. this will fit great and fill up the wheel wells a bit. probly could get a 295/70R17 on as well but without a leveling kit might rub a little. with a leveling kit you can go up to a 305/70R17 or even a 315/70R17. Good luck.

 

I agree. You could also fit a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) at stock height on your oem wheels.

Good choices would be the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, Pro Comp Extreme AT, Mickey Thompson ATZ, **** Cepek FC II or Bridgestone Dueler. Also, not every size mentioned is available in everyone of those tires.
