not sure what i planned to just buy the 20"s tonight but after looking and really considering the price and the decision that i'd have to stick with i am getting nervous to buy anything. i want them to look perfect and i dont want to look ghetto. what is a good site to find rims i looked through alot but none seemed to be dedicated to trucks and i can't tell how to find the all terain tires or some mud grips.

what is offset, what difference will width make, how do i select a tire pattern. do i have to consider wheel centric and hub centric rims?

 

If you want a street truck look, I'd remove the nerf bars, install some lower shackles out back and go with a 305/40-22 tire.

 

my truck is not lifted what will a -11 offset look like as far as sticking out. i have a leveling kit so the front is up 1.5 inches. guy on the phone says they will hit the bumper. to me that doesnt make any sense at all.

 

What's the width of the wheel and the backspacing? Are you wanting a street truck look or an offroad look?

 

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but Summit Racing has a great site. I like how you can select the size that you want, the backspace, the lug pattern, the offset, et cetera. I found these Eagle Alloys 0642-2094, 20"X10", 4.625" backspacing, -21.00mm offset. They should buckle right up to your truck and stick out about 3". If you get a lift kit, theses rims are within the backspace requirements.

 

It makes perfect sense. If you do not have the correct offset & backspace, your front tires will stick out wider than the body of the truck, and rub right into the front bumper & trim fascia when you turn. That is why a lot of lift kits instruct the user to trim the front bumper fascia.
