Brakes feel like they slip, possible need bleeding?
I have had my abs light off and on for a couple of weeks no and i checked it out this past weekend and i noticed that where the two brake lines come in over my rear end and connect to that splitter looking piece that the line that connects to the top of that piece was broken. It looks like some sort of evap line, so i took off the piece that was broke and refitted that line back on the splitter, but my abs light is still on. Has anyone had an issue like this before? my brakes feel like they want to slip when i put on the brakes, so i was wondering if i needed to bleed them, thought maybe that broken line let some air in the system. But honestly not sure what that line is, it just goes up and connects to the body of the truck.

by the picture i seen its your brake line...a soft line comes off a hard line on the frame then down to a T then off to each wheel cylinder.. if u had any of them un hooked or if it is leaking it should be fixed then the rear should be bled
yes a mechanic confirmed the vent tube, but it does look like something has leaked back there. taking it to be looked at tomorrow! thanks for the input

its on the inital stop after start up, like out of the driveway or whatnot. theres a little flutter in stopping at first, then abs light comes on and it stops fine after that. haven't taken to shop yet, but got a feeling one of my sensors is bad and giving a false reading.
Ok got the code read for my abs light being on and my back abs sensor on top of the rear end was giving a false signal and causing my pedal to shimmer when i first put on brakes(thats why i thought there may be some air in the lines) but it was just the sensor gone bad! hope this helps anyone else with this issue!
the fronts are a bit more expensive i believe. oh and if it is the sensor is a pretty easy fix as well. just unplug the old one, removed the bolt that holds it in place, jimmy the old one out(o-ring seals it in) and pop new one in!
