should I buy from 4wheelparts?

I need some 325/60/18 tires and I'm interested in the fun country II's($1,047) and new ATZ's($1058). 4wheelparts has them both about the same price, and the lowest price for that size I can find. But I seen a post on here about a lawsuit or something with this company. Has anyone bought ordered from them online and had problems?

Also I'm getting MT classic II wheels, will I need different lug nuts or can I use my OEM one? (2006 Screw 4x4) Thanks

DO NOT place the order online with them !!! im sure all will go just fine, but you will pay more than you need to !!! i have placed several orders with them on the phone, and every time they take extra off. the trick is to create a shopping cart with what you want online, and then see what the total is. i bet that if you are buying a tire and wheel combo, you could get a couple hundred taken off.... you have to act like you are shopping other prices, and they will say something like "if you purchase them right now, i will lower your price to xxxxx". as for the lug nuts, you will need aftermarket lugs to fit those wheels.... but they (4wp) sells the gorilla locking lug sets for about 50.00.

hope this helps !!!

Im just getting tires. I got the wheels from Mickey Thompson's website. I don't think they come with lug nuts. What lug nuts should I look to order? Just any lug in size 14x2.0" thread? Can I get them at a store like autozone or are they special? Thanks.

you can sometimes get them at local auto parts stores.... they are a 14x2 thread, and you want the conical seat. im not sure how deep the lug ports are on those wheels, but the nuts will probably be about 2" long or so. since you bought the wheels from a different sit, they might not even come with valve stems.....

if its not too late, i would seriously try to cancel the order, and get it all from 4wheelparts. they will give you a better deal that way, and they do all the mounting and balancing for you. just something to think about.

4 Wheel Parts can shove it up their azz.

If they every have something I want at a lower price than others, I will find another GOOD bussiness that will price match.

Thats all I have to say about 4WPs

Would these lug nuts work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrom...mZ280270266042

What business would you buy tires from that would price match?

BEWARE!!!

They sent me one brand new wheel, and three open boxed wheels. Luckily the face of the 3 open boxed wheels were fine, but they looked like they had been mounted before, and one of the caps was all gunked up so i had to have them send me a new one. I wanted to exhange the 3 wheels but i was told that it would take a couple months due to backorder...BS!!! I did not want to wait that long and had already put them on my truck when i finally got a call back anyways. Only good thing was they sent me a $50 gift card for the trouble. But come to find out one of the wheels is way out of round (truck shakes like crazy from 50 to 60), needs about 17oz of weights to balance. I had two tire shops check it out and both told me it's definetly the wheel and not the tire. So i talked to 4wheelparts again and told them to send me a replacement wheel, but i have to wait forever, and pay for the thing up front then get reimbursed!!!! Needless to say i'm very sketchy about doing this, but i need a new wheel.

Anyways, shop at your own risk, a lot of people have had a horrible experience with them, while others have had no issues.

I agree with not ordering online. I don't know about phone orders but when I went in to buy my tires I saved money on the tires, warranty, and obviously no shipping. Well they were on backorder and they shipped them to me at no charge.

I ordered my BFG M/Ts from them back in December for the 92'. It was a hassle free expirience and the price was good.

That being said I will probably never order from them again. That time was a fluke.

4WP is one of the sh*ttiest companies out there. period. there is an excellent thread in the off-roading section covering how unethical they are.
