Sorry guys for another size question, but I looked thru all the posts and didn't find my situation.

I have a '05 F150 XLT 4X4. The tires look small in the wheel wells. They are 275/70 17's. I'd like to get some bigger wheels, but don't want to lift it or do any other mods at this time. How big of a wheel and tire can I put on this w/o other mods.

an 18x9" wheel would be a good choice, with a 285 width tire of your choice, making it a 33" combo which is what you can run at max.

 

I'd go with 33's on a 8 or 9 inch wide wheel.
