The oem wheels are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of bs.
Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? How much lift do you have? These will determine what width and backspacing you need to fit 35's.

I'd suggest a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of backspacing. This is a common aftermarket wheel spec for the 04-08's and means the wheel will stick out 2 inches farther than the OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels.

i'm also looking at the Halo HE821 Wheel and it says that it has 6.07" backspacing and it says that its a 10 inch wheel. what would be the differences between the 9" and 10" wheel with my tires?

A 10 inch wide wheel with 6 inches of bs will stick out 2 inches farther than the oem wheels.
A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of bs will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the oem wheels.
A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.75 inches of bs will stick out 2.25 inches farther than the oem wheels.
Any of those wheels will fit with the 315/70-17's since you have a leveling kit and a body lift.

Your oem 2002 wheels are either 16x7 or 17x7.5 inches with 4.5 inches of bs. Most off road style aftermarket wheels for the 97-03's have eith 4.5 or 5 inches of bs. I have 16x10's with 4.5 inches of bs and the edge of the tire/wheel is just about even with the edge of my fenders.

Wandell, I just installed some jesse james black widows with a 13.73mm backspacing and 33x12.50 toyo mt's. I want the wheels to stick out a little wider to give me a more wider stance and aggrestive appearance. I'm thinking of running some 1 inch spacers,"i know it's hard on ball joints" but could you tell me were to buy the cheapest set and your opinions on prior experience with running spacers? Thanks in advance, pm me if you need to.

Most people agree wheel spacers are a bad idea. Especially on 04-08 F-150's which seem to be very sensitive to tire/wheel changes.
