Trying to get stock size

Ok i know that our rims have 5.5 BS, what would happen if i got a 6BS or 6 1/8 backspacing could i use it. its going with the 35x1250-R20s, i want a 20x9 rim

edit: Main question is anything over 5.5BS good, or is there a window that i have to stay in?

You can use that wheel, but I don't think a 35x12.50 is gonna fit with it. If you have a 4x4, I'd suggest adding a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit and running a 33x12.50 to 33x13.00 tire on a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing.

I have the bilstein 5100s coming in. So that should be enough for leveling " i think". I heard that u can use 35's if u have the stock rim and then, i heard that u can get a rim that is close to that size.

The Bilsteins will level it fine. Then 35s will fit without any rubbing.

main question is it ok to run a rim that is 20x9 with a BS of 5.5 to 6(1/8), and what would be a nice offset?

Paw Paw tried a similar combo with 35's and had serious rubbing. He found an 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of bs and was able to fit 35x12.50's (barely).
