ok i have a 2004 f-150 new body style with 17x8.5 inch aftermarket rims with a backside of 5. i currently have 33x12.50 tires right now and want to upgrade to 35x12.50 will the 35x12.50 inch tire fit on the rim??? im also about to put a 6 inch lift kit on my truck, thats why im getting the 35's i heard 33's wont look right

 

yes they will fit. my friend had 35x12.5 on his stock fx4 wheels which are 7.5" wide when he had a leveling kit

 

smithjeremy, did you get the lift installed with the 35's? i currently run a 6" lift with 33x13 tires, and i am getting 35's real soon...... i am also changing my wheels to the same specs you mention, so i want to see how they look mounted on the truck..... do you have and side profile pics?

Yes, the 35's will fit on the 8 inch wide wheels.
