It's been almost a year since I've had my 35x12.5R18 KM2's and they been nothing but great in every condition I've had them in. Great in cold weather (down to 30 degrees but no snow or ice-I'm in arizona) great in hot weather (up to 110 degrees), surprisingly good in rain/heavy rain (flash flood desert rain), excellent off road (can't comment on mud though not much mudding to do in arizona but I'm sure they'd get the job done) Simply put, it's a great all-around-go anywhere-do anything tire with great daily driving manners; little road noise and a smooth ride for such aggressive tread. Also, as far as mileage to expect out of them, mine, after a year and 8,000 miles later, have 18/32" of tread left on them and when new they had 20/32", so I think 40,000 miles with proper rotation and inflation (obviously alignment) would be fairly easy to hit. Highly recommended

 

I take it you decided on the 37" KM2's.

That extra .25" contact patch isn't going to make that much of a difference with those redneck Toyo's.

 

I still cant get over how much i LOVE these tires. I cant believe they are this quiet yet have such an aggressive pattern. I've had so many compliments on these tires, its insane. Highly recommended!!!!!

 

I really wanted some 38x15.5x20''s so after I found a used set of Toyo M/T's I jumped on them.

I think now I'll start saving for the 37xwhateverx20's in the KM2's for the next set. They look bad ***. I wish they would make them in a 38x15.5

Glad you're enjoying them, figured you would but whats not to like, beefy sidewall blocks, krawler like tread, great on-road and even better off-road. Basically all the ingredients to make the best/coolest tire in the world

I too wish they made a 38x14.5 in 18's and 20's not just 17's. I'm sure you'll like your toyos but think you'd like the krawlers cousin more

Agree on what everyone else has said about the KM2's. Nothing bad to say, only good. I just recently talked a co-worker of mine into getting them on his F-150. 285/70/17. He's had them for almost a week now and loves them as well. Didn't want to get a mud tire but he is really glad he did now.

 

The KM2's are definately going to be my next set!

These are 335/55/r22s, Bfg calls them mud terrain km2 "DT"(different treadpattern)

The Mud-Terrain T/A KM "DT" (the KM identifies BFGoodrich's Key feature: Mud traction). And while the “DT” is not branded on the tire's sidewall, it is The Tire Rack's way to identify this tire as a very unusual Off-Road Maximum Traction tire). Although BFGoodrich simply includes this tire in their Mud-Terrain T/A KM lineup on the Internet, they use a "DT" (Different Tread) suffix in their literature. The Mud-Terrain T/A KM "DT" was developed to provide aggressive off-road looks for the drivers of performance pickups, radical jeeps and super SUVs using 22-inch diameter wheels.

Rather than featuring the tread design used on other Mud-Terrain T/A KM tires, the Mud-Terrain T/A KM "DT" features a Krawler T/A KX-inspired tread design that combines deep, aggressive independent blocks with solid sidewall lugs. The tire's structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by BFGoodrich's ETEC (Equal TEnsion Containment) System that uses spirally wound nylon to provide excellent strength and consistent footprint pressure while it helps provide more uniform ride quality.
