Anyone running 285/45-22's

I have an 04 screw currently running 295/45-20's looking to get 22's how would the ride be; and are their any clearance issues. I have 2" shackles in rear.

I have a friend that ran that size with a 2/4 drop. If you are gonna just run lowering shackles, I'd go with 305/40-22's.

do you think 305/45-22's will fit without rubbing issues; and will the speedo need to be recalibrated for this size tire

Yes, they will fit easily unless you use a wheel with a really weird backspacing. You don't have to get the speedo recalibrated, but it will be off some.

Running 285/40/22's with no rubbing issues. 2" shackles in the back.

Man I love the search feature I was just about to post the same question on the same size wheels and tires. I am putting these on a fx4 though but I assume no rubbing issues with a 4x4 ( don't see why I would). After debating on tires and rim size for weeks now I stumbled on a great deal on a used set of Black Rhino Kenya 22" with 305/45/22 yokohama prada specs with less than 5000k on them for $1300. I'll run the street tires for a while then get some all terrains later. Sorry for the hijack.
