Wheels as well

Ok, well after seeing all these trucks with the nice wheels, i'm really wanting to get a pair for myself along with the BFG AT KO's i'm getting. I'm thinking of just doing it all at once, and two wheels i'm looking at right now are the Pro comp 7089 and 8089. I still want to get the 35" tires, so what size wheel should i be looking at? I have the stock 17" XLT wheels on now, with 255/70/17 size tires.

Wow this site makes you want to spend money thats for sure lol.

My wheels are 20x9 (5.71 backspacing) with 35x12.50-20 Toyo M/T's and still had to do some cutting in my wheel wells. I also have a 2.5 AS leveling kit. Do you have any lift?

No lift, my trucks all stock right now. I was actually going to just get some 315/70/17 BFG AT KO's along with a 2.5 inch Auto Spring leveling kit and leave my stock 17's on. But the more i see the nice wheels, the more i want some. I think i'd like to stay at 17 though, i'm not to interested in getting the 20's. Plus they cost more and i've only got so much to work with and i want to get this done soon.

I just really like those pro comp wheels i mentioned. I also like the moto metal 957's and 958's, but i am a complete noob (for lack of a better word) in regards too size, backspacing, etc etc.

When shopping for wheels first and foremost you need the right bolt pattern 6x135 and the different offsets and backspacing is all personal preference. The general rule is that you can fit a 33 on aftermarket wheels or 35 on oem wheels.

Correct or find an aftermarket wheel with factor specs. I think you will still have some minor rubbing on your UCA's at full-lock, but nothin major.

So what size specifically should i look for in an aftermarket wheel if i want to run the 35's still? Sorry for all the questions, this stuff is all foreign to me.

If you want aftermarket wheels and 35's, you need to find an 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing. PawPaw is running this combo. Personally, I'd go with 33's.

Probably because a 33" tire would be more practical for everyday use. Squeezing on a 34 or 35 inch is for look's more then practicality and I'm guilty!

I see many people running that setup on here. I don't see why they wouldn't work. 3" HBS?...is that a body lift?
