i ordered a set of performance drilled and slotted rotors for my 2003 supercrew from BrakePlanet.com. i began the installation on the front axle and the rotor seemed to fit fine, but then when i put the caliper mounting bracket back on, it became clear that the rotor was too thick to operate properly. when the bracket is bolted on, the rotor will no longer spin. BrakePlanet claims no modifications are required for their aftermarket parts, and they will not respond to my emails. did they send me the wrong rotors, or is there some type of modification that must be made for them to fit properly?

 

Check the part number that you recieved against that on your paperwork and/or on their website. I'm betting they are the wrong part number.
