First Impressions.....Field Report

Thanks for all of the compliments on the tires and how I have the truck setup. Now that I've had a couple of days with these bad boys on the road I'm ready to give you guys some first impressions.

Road noise - not bad, even at 70mph you can hear the tires hum but not to the point that you need to really turn up the volume to drowned them out. I am still able to carry on a normal conversation without feeling like I need to yell.

Ride - much better than I expected for such an aggressive tire. I did play with the tire pressure a bit to find best overall ride and even tire wear.

Wet roads - had the chance this morning to drive in the rain and the tires were great. At no time did I feel out of control passing or turning. I was even looking for puddles to see if I could feel them hydroplane and they didn't even flinch.

So far I am very pleased with these tires and the way they look is awesome. If you have any other questions let me know and I'll do what I can to answer them.

I have a 2005 SCrew lariat and I just ordered the 2" AS leveling kit for the front. I am planning on buying the 305/60/R18 BFG KM2s just like you but I didn't plan on the rear lift block. Do you think I will need this lift block? I don't tow much. I do not want my rear to sit even slightly lower than the front. What do you think? Also, my stock rear lift blocks have an arm on them that the overload bump stops rest on, do the 3" AS blocks have this as well?

Awesome truck, probably my favorite color is black trimmed in chrome when it's clean.

What makes you say this????? Just curious.
