305/60/18 BFG KM2's on Stock Wheels....Installed

Installed the tires on Friday. I'm using an AS 2" leveling kit and 3" blocks in the back. Recalibrated for the tire size with my tuner and I am dead on at 60mph . I have zero rubbing at full lock and no trimming was required at all. I have more pics in my gallery if anyone is interested in seeing the clearances.

With all of the interest these tires are generating on the forum I though I would
let you see what they look like installed.

Looks great! How much lift did you get with the rear block? It replaced the factory one right?

If BFG would wake up and make this tire in a 305/65/18 They would own the leveled truck market. Those look stock and after running the metric calculator on them they are less than half an inch taller over stock FX4 tires...
Great looking truck, your tires are just weak looking IMO.

Actually, the stock BFG rugged trails that come on FX4's are 31.9 with a C load rating (2365@35). The BFG KM2's are 32.6 (over a half inch taller) and have an E load rating (3195@65) and a much stronger sidewall. Not to mention a much more aggressive looking sidewall and tread patten which make the rugged trails...look not so rugged . Weak looking wouldn't be my choice of words, although I admit a 305/65 may have been a better choice when they made tire sizes, but there isn't anything wrong with a 305/60-basically a 33x12 and honestly might be a better choice then the 35x12.5 on a leveled truck. Once again LegIron tires look great

The new lift block does replace the original and it gives you an additional 1" to 1 1/2 " of lift. Also the cap is made by Century.

As far as the 33 vs 35 debate I went with the 305 because of the fit and no need to trim or be concerned with rubbing. I do a lot of full lock turning and did not want to have any problems. If they ever start making these in 305/65 I'll be putting those on.

So far I am very pleased with the tires and couldn't be happier about it.

I totally agree....35's with only a leveling kit looks way too stuffed IMO. 33's are perfect for a leveling kit.

I couldn't agree more. I looked long and hard at 07Fx4Silver's truck before I decided to go with the 305's. His truck really does look good but it wasn't for me. I gained a little on the size compared to the stock 275's but the transformation in appearance was amazing and I had no real change in performance with the upgrade either, so that was a plus too.

This is exactly that stance I'm looking for! The tires too... great combination! Thanks for sharing! I know know what to look for!

Cheers
