i cant decide if the chrome ring would ruin the mean mainly black look i have or if it would work well with the chrome bumpers.

Hey MadMax.....

Well, of course I'm kind of partial to the 7089's, since I just had mine put on last week, and I'm loving them :-)

However, IMPO you need (just as bad as I do) to black those bumpers ! The chrome on those bumpers kills the tough / mean look, just as fast as chrome on the wheels.
I'm supposed to be getting my bumpers satin black powder coated next week. But another option is to hit that chrome with a grinder (careful not to gouge it too much) then Linex them.
Put it this way, if they go to beadblast mine, and the chrome tries to lift (a slight posibility) I'm going to tell them, "Well thanks anyway".... then grab a grinder, rip that chrome off, and head straight to the Linex shop :-)

Peace,
Fish

BTW, is your paint red ? Or orange ? Could just be the lighting. Looks good either way, and will look GREAT all blacked :-)
