Bleeding brakes after brake job

Just changed out the front brakes on my 97 F150. New calipers, rotors, pads, etc. Bled the lines multiple time - no air to be found anywhere. Now when i hit the brakes it acts as if the ABS is being activated. The brakes seem to push back at me. Doesn't happen all the time but most of the time. Seems to happen more often with light to medium pedal pressure, not at all with hard pressure. Saw on the forum somewhere that the ABS module had to be bled out but 1) i did the exact same brake job back in 2004 and never did that and everything worked fine and 2) if what i was looking at was the ABS module i didn't see anywhere on it to bleed it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you replace the rubber hoses? They may be collapsing internally.
