I have nittos and I would recommend investing in a different tire. Ill be going with toyos next. The nittos look good and thats about as far as they go for me.
I use my truck on mostly street, and occasional sand. So I pretty much picked the worst mud terrain possible haha
Like everyone else has said, nittos wear quickly, suck in sand, and are very loud. Loud enough to make it difficult to hear on the phone while driving highway speeds. I like the sound but others may not. They make more noise than super swamper iroks, which my bud has on his jeep.

Like he said he will be going with Toyo's next! Look I started the exact same thread on these two tires and here were the results I learned of. My local truck shop has two 2007 Ford F150 FX4's totally customized. One of the trucks is running 35/12.5/20 Nitto Mud Grapplers and the other is running the same size but in a Toyo Mud Terrain. They let me drive both vehicles and let me tell you, the Toyo M/T were hands down more QUIET. Now the Nitto Mud Graps may look a tad bit more aggressive but for overall tread life your going to be much happier with the Toyo M/T. IMO!!

Well I have the toyos. Super tire indeed. The do not perform as well as other MT's in the mud though.

How loud are the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs?

If they are like what you describe about the Nittos, Ill look elsewhere as I really dont like extremely loud tires.
