Brake dust

Hard to keep my front wheels clean from all the brake dust on my 06 F-150. Does Ford use ceramic brake pads from the factory? They seem to run a lot cleaner. Any suggestions?

Ford uses a cheap semi-metallic. Many of us switched to CarQuest Blues or Wagner ThermoQuiets. I have 60,000 miles on my Wagners. There are some that went to ceramic, as well. Go to advanced search and do an inquiry, lots of posts on it.

I'll second Jim ^ 200%, and added to, I use Carquest stuff and am finding the ceramics to work nice as well. The part numbers are BC (C for ceramic) D and a number, the semi-metallics I've had excellent luck with start with BM (M for metallics) D and number. The B is the "blue" series of pads and my advice, stay away from the gold "G" series.
