Josiah seemed to have good luck with the nitto mg considering they were pretty much bald when he went to Frank Raines.

Anyways...let us know what you decide to go with
Boggers would be BAD !! But, i'm lookin for a tire that'll last longer then a quick trip around the block !

Ya, i loved how these tires looked, and performed GREAT, up until they began falling apart. Like ya said, i wheel hard, so i guess that makes me a perfect test mule !

Josiah was saying something about only having those tires 6 months or so ? I don't think i want the Nitto MG's. I think they are probably the best LOOKING tire out there, but again, no mileage outta them. Although josiah is also hard on his truck, and his tires didn't fall apart on him... and mine isn't a DD... hmmm. Maybe.

No Interco because they are mostly Bias ply. The radial Super swampers aren't as good off-road and yes, they wear super quick.

I keep going back and forth, I want something aggressive enough to go through some of the stuff i play in, but also one that, not necessarily will last long, but wont start chunking right away, ya know ? Just not sure.

(pics are comin, just been lazy !)

WHAT ?!?!? A lift ??? awesome ! How much lift will it give ya ? What size tire ?

I am heavily leanin towards the KM2. Even got a great deal on em, its just them being D rated has me worried, but I think I'm being a *****, i'm sure D will be fine.

Hey, you ever replace that town up A/T ya had ? Or you still rockin it ? Just curious

hey man i saw a 2wd Rcab with the fabtech 7.5 and it was a very very nice kit. It might be out of the price range.

Another thing to look at is ebay check 97-03 F150 Lifts theres a company there that sells RCD kits for half off!

Dude D rating is perfectly fine for what you do. I have C rated tires and have towed 6.5k pounds at the same time as having 1k in the bed, for 300 miles uphill to the ranch...no problems. Have hauled 2.5k in the bed too, no problems.

sweet ! Thats good to hear mSal. I was also talking to 07tnFX4 (or something) he was first guy on the site with the KM2's. He also has 18" rim, same km2's as I would be getting, and he has towed. He was also re-assuring. Thanks dude !

haha i know crazy right? im looking at getting a spindle in the front for about 3.5" and a 1" block in the back so itll sit just ever so slightly nose high. theres a posibility to combine it with a coil spacer and a 3" block but i dont have the money to replace tires and i think 5.5" of lift and 32's would look funny.

o and as for the tire im still rocking it. theres no vibration, extra noise or it falling apart so im thinking its gonna stay till it wears out. (o and on a sidenote L headlights and hyperdressing are in the mail)

Thats me . D load will be no problem, I've carried full loads of rock, moved once with the entire truck loaded with furniture, appliances and other crap and had the KM2's at 50 psi and never had any problem. Have taken them off-road and perform great in loose dirt, rocks and some muck I had my truck in last fall (mind you these weren't big mud pits that some of you run through but I'm sure they'd do fine). Daily driving-pavement pounding is great, dry or wet, hot or cold, fast or slow-doesn't matter. The only thing I can't comment on is how they do in snow or ice, but for everything else I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better looking/performing tire and pictures really don't do them justice you have to see them in person. Go for it

I have D rated BFG AT's, I know we're talking about the KM2's, but I would like to say that I have towed some heavy loads, and the D rating has held up fine for me.

Ahh, sorry I missed the thread Mercedes, I have had these grapplers for at the very least 25k miles. And maybe 1.5-2 years. However long I've had the lift on for, and it's a DD but mostly highway. I'm in need of new tires but I'm going to use the All terrain advantages out at Pismo this month

No problem Josiah. You gunna run your "slicks" out there ???

And 25k ? Wow, I didn't know it was that long. I remember (kinda0 you saying something about em, thought it was how short they lasted. guess not.

Check out my new tire/rim combo ! Tell me whatcha think:

Sweet, or what ? Thats how I am running around right now, since I have needed to use the truck a couple of times since this tire fiasco.

Update: looks like Pro-Comp is coming through. I called and made a huge stink about it. Finally got a hold of one of the "higher ups" and she helped work everything out. Two new tires are on their way as we speak, covered under the manufacturer warranty. Glad they did step up to the plate and come through for me. Now the question becomes should I keep em ? or sell em ?
