yes you can, you can also see equal or more miles out of a Toyo MT but I doubt either will get over 50k.

Im a BFG fanatic and love the look of the KM2's but I doubt ill ever own a set. Seeing how they dont make them for 16" wheels!

True true, but I guess as I see it, in my case anyhow, if I can afford a $34k truck, I can afford the gas and tires, and if I can't then I shouldn't have bought it....of course I guess it's different with larger tires, different driving habits....which in turn goes, if your truck is a street queen, you don't need M/Ts, much less A/Ts.

You have to pay to play!

Its not like gas prices sneak up on you! HAHAHA

Street Queens can have MT's or AT's for that matter but dont complain when they dont get the mileage of the city tires that would have been more practical.

I love the looks of AT's and MT's i doubt ill ever own a highway tire!

Oh you might have misunderstood me 4.2...I didn't mean to say street queens shouldn't have those tires or don't look good with them, in fact they look great! I was just saying you don't need them, or need to justify the cost of them if they don't see mud or sand.

Hey BTW guys.....

I think I'm going to end up spending like $6000 on my tires (or whatever it works out to) because I've looked at the smaller ones, and I just can't make myself happy with them :-(

Then after seeing Jonamond's 305-65-18" BFG AT's, I just couldn't go without them.

The way I have to look at it now is, I'm going to end up spending $23K on my F150, (inc. tax + lic) and probably close to $5K in mods (in the first month).... the better part of $30 freaking K ! (a lotta' money for a poor guy)

So, when I'm walking out to my truck in the morning..... Or back to it, after a day on the water, I just have to be able to look at it, and think to myself > Damn ! What a bad-*** looking truck ;-)
Looking at all of the bad-***, modded out trucks I see here on the forum, I think most all of you can relate to what I'm saying ! :-)

Peace,
Fish

Well yes....

and besides, like I was saying another thread, I'll just be doing a lot more fishing closer to home, and then when I just "have" to travel further, I'll have to do multi-day trips, with single round trips :-) Time to get the camping thing down....

So, I think I will still use my truck really often, but just smarter :-)

BTW Paw Paw, you know its a lot your fault too, that "I have to have" bigger tires. Your truck just looks too good to ignore :-)

Hey Chenchio.....

That is a GREAT shot :-)

Put it this way, if I had a 4wd, it would have to have a 6" lift, and "at least" 35"s :-) ......and 4.10 gears for sure !

I'm just trying to keep it reasonable, but still look reasonably good too :-)

Peace,
Fish

I wouldn't count on more than 50K out of your tires 70K is kind of pushing it.

Life as we know will be over by 2012 anyway.....so max out that credit card rock out with your **** out.....HAHA!

Hey Shane....

I've never expected more than 50K out of a set of tires either.... but then I have heard a lot of guys getting 50K, 70K even 90K+ out of the BFG AT's ! So who knows.

You said > Life as we know will be over by 2012 anyway < I agree.....2015 tops. It will all end with WW III, over oil. Almost certainly nuclear. What an amazing species human beings are, huh ? :-)

Peace,
Fish

I totally disagree!! on the tires that is! 70k is vary possible with BFG TA KO's if you rotate them regularly and keep good air pressure. I geuss different people will let tires go at 1/4 tread when another guy will run them till the belts wear though. But I can tell you 100% that a set of bfgs can get 60k on a heavy Dodge 2500. So i dont see how they wouldnt make it to 70k+ with a lighter F150...

And im not even going to get into that other conversation...
