Will the wheels stick out too far and look out of proportional?

Yeah that helps a bunch man thanks.
And as far as more info goes....
I wanna do a 2.5" level. Then I'm getting 33" Toyo MT's.
I was thinking about choosing one one of the 18" Xd wheels..18x9 with 0 offset..which is offered with a few different version of the Xd I believe. My real question is guess is will the 5 inches of backspace stick out unproportionally far? Kinda hard to explain I guess. It seems like the higher you lift...you can get away with more backspace and the truck still looking good. I do kinda want the offroad look though. I have a friend with a 6 inch lift on his F 150 with 5" backspace on his 18" Pro Comps and they look about perfect..but then again its lifted.

A 9 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of bs will stick out 2 inches farther than the oem 17 and 18 inch wheels.

Same boat

I'm wondering the same myself. I'm considering 2 wheels right now 18x9 with 5" backspacing, and I'm also considering 18x9 XD Hoss rims with +30 offset (6.17 inch backspacing) but I'm worried they may rub the control arms since they'll be tucked so far under. I've got some 325/60/18 tires I'm ready to mount, as soon as I get some new rims!

Wandell, will 325/60/18 tires on 18x9 - 0 offset tires rub any on a 2.5" leveled 4x4?

i also think folks go with 5 inch backspacing on lifted trucks is because with more backspacing they rub and dont fit with the bigger spindles and whatnot.i may be wrong though.i think the 6.1 backspacing on my truck anyway is perfect.im sure someone has pics of wheels with 5 inch backspacing it might not look too bad.i dont think my truck is high enough to pull it off and look good.if you have a 4x4 with the leveling kit it might look good since it will be higher anyway.i also wanted to add my wheels are xd rockstars since yall said you were looking into xd series wheels.

On My Factory Fx4 Wheels I Have 325-60-18 Goodyear Pro Grade . 2in Level. No Rubbing. Except When I Would Back Out The Drive Toofast Under Full Turn. They Just Clear The Upper Balljoint 1/4 In To Spare

I think you will be fine with the 9 inch wide wheel with 6.1 inches of bs.

So...

So Wandell, you think I should go with the 6.1" backspacing over the 5" ones for better clearance? I'm really torn over which rims to get now!

I don't want any rubbing on anything that I can't easily trim

I think both will work. It just depends on how far you want the tire to stick out.
