confused

need some advice, i have been looking around the forums looking for the answer but got all confused, i have the stock 17" wheels on my truck (the chrome ones) and I was thinking about getting some fat rubber on them, I have the AS 2" level kit, question is would I be able to put 295/70 tires on the stock rim or would I have to go with an aftermarket rim with 17x9 instead of the 17x7.5 that the stock rim has, any help would be appreciated

On a 4x4 as a general rule, with a leveling kit you can fit up to a 35x12.50 using the oem wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels.

Is your truck a 4x4 or 4x2?

They will fit, a lot of people run 35x12.5's on a stock wheel. You may also want to check out the 305x70x17's close to 34 inches tall.
