Lift from tires....

Hey guys,
I have a strange question, atleast I think its strange. I have a 2WD STX 08 reg cab and I am going to be putting on a 2.5 AS in the front and FX2 1" rear blocks in the back. I know how much of a lift I will get out of that but I am also changing out my 255-65-17 stock Michelins for Nitto TG's in 295x70x17. Does anyone know how much higher my truck will sit from the tire change out? I need to make sure it will still fit in my work parking garage. We have F-150's with ladder racks (work trucks) that tend to catch on the sprinkler system pipes and I really don't want to hit them with my truck.

Uh oh.. Not good. Garage clearance is only 6'8". I am 6'1 and my truck is already taller than I am. hmm. Looks like I need to measure how tall it is stock. Thanks for the link.

The tires would only lift the truck .75''.The tire difference is 1.5" overall on the sidewall, so split that in half. .75'' on the bottom .75'' on the top.

255/65R17 = 30.05" diameter
295/70R17 = 33.21" diameter

Difference = 3"
