Another 2001 Rotor Problem

Please, Any help is appreciated.

I have a 2001 2WD (F-150 of course) and I'm trying to do a complete brake job (rotors and pads). The front went fine even though I had to replace a ball joint and leaky brake line as well as the front rotors and pads. When I went to the rear, which I thought would be a cakewalk, I hit a brick wall. I cannot get the rotor off the passenger side. It is loose from the hub but won't come off. It's like there is an assembly behind the rotor (ABS or parking brake??) that is connected to the rotor or somehow holding the rotor in place. I've tried prying and pulling and I hear a metalic sping like sound so something is holding the rotor. I dare not get too crazy for fear of doing serious damage.

Now, HOW DO I GET THAT STUPID THING OFF!!!!!!

Thanks,

PB - Columbus, OH

I think I may have found my answer in another thread. Someone (I should have gotten the name) mentioned an e-brake adjuster accessable though an oval window. Something tells me that this is what I need. I just hope I haven't done too much damage prying on that rotor. If anyone else has any other suggestions - please post them. Thanks again.
