Are you looking for a BFG mud-terrain or all-terrain to put on those wheels?

I am trying to avoid buying new rims at this time, and i got a little bit of different reponse from people about 35" tires fitting on a 17" 0em wheel safely? I just dont want to buy tires and they wont fit. I installed a 2.5" AS today so i know there is enough space I am not too sure though. Tires i am lookin at are BFG 35x12.50x17 or cooper stt 35x12.50x17.

This is Stephen S's truck with 17" BFG MT's but on 8" aftermarket wheels with 5 1/2 inches backspacing. Only 1/2" more than stock, same as mine. Hope this picture show's up because these are some bad azz tires!

When I had the guys down at Discount put my 33's on my stock 17's, they told me that was the biggest you could go on the stock rims. Id go down there and ask them before you spend the kinda money your gonna be spending on 35's only to have them not fit.

Not BFG but look into 305/70/17
I think they fit perfect. No rubbing at all. I to didnt want to spend money on new wheels.

BTW 35's will fit but will slightly rub at full lock.
