Question 05 KingRanch tires

I'm in the market for some new tires and I need a little help on which sizes will fit properly. Right now I have the factory crap didn't even last to 30k. It's a 265/60/R18 but I want a more agressive tire and I would like to know whats the biggest size that will fit without lifting the truck yet.

I would say a 285x65x18. Wandell will tell you for sure if I'm wrong.

as far as tires go i would look into Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor. great tires for the money (mine were around 800 installed) and they can get through damn near anything. great in snow, mud, and sand. not to mention silent on the freeway.

A 285/65-18 would fit a 4x2 using the oem wheels and a leveling kit, but it will be really tight without one.

Will they stick out a lot causing dirty rain water to go all over the truck?

Not bad if you use the stock wheels. I would also try the 285x65's but I agree with Wandell it will be close unless you level the truck.
