Question Smaller rims-worth it?

I have a '03 4X4 F-150screw that I would like to have a bit lower.
I know, I know wrong way!
But I do not go off road and the ice fishing that I do, I would like to be able to get my gear out a little easier.
What is the smallest rim I can use and clear the brake calipers (stock).
I have thought about uncranking (?) the torsion bars also and lowering the rear leafs a bit.
Or do I go to Discount tire and ask about lower profile tires for the stock rims.
Thoughts?

I'd suggest you remove the oem 2 inch lift block from the rear springs and then back off the preload on the torsion bars untill the truck looks level. Personally, I'd then add a set of 22's and 305/45-22 tires to complete the look.
But, to answer your original question, 16's are the smallest wheel you can fit.

Yes, any change in ride height will affect alignment.
