Talking Trying to destroy my paint

I really like the look of a truck with the tires way out wide, I've been informed that as a college graduation present my parents will be paying part of the cost for new rims for me, that being said of the choices of 16" 17" or 18" wheels, what are the specs I should get on these wheels to make them stick out and still work with BFG AT KOs in the size 305/70/16, 305/65/17, or 305/65/18.
Right now my top choice is 16" rims since both them and the tire seem to be cheaper than the others. Thanks guys

305/65/18s get my vote. all 16" wheels look the same cause they are too small!

It's hard to get a wheel that sticks way out on a 97-03 because the wheel manufacturers actually did a good job designing wheels. My 16x10's have 4.5 inches of backspacing and my tire/wheel is just about even with the outer edge of my wheelwells. If you like the wide look, I'd go with 18x10's and some 325/60-18 (33x13.00) tires.

ive got eagle alloy 185s which are 16X8 and they have 4" of backspacing with 265/75/16 BGFs on it. personally i think they stick out just enough. be aware that if you like your truck clean its not gonna stay that way very long with the tires sticking out

I've got 325/60R18s on 18x10 wheels. They'll stick out far enough to ruin your paint. Check my gallery for pics.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I won't be getting new rubber for a while. I had an incident involving some beverages and had to use the cash to cover my stay in a state run resort as well as some advising services. looks like there will be little in the way of fun money until probably november

As long as you learned from your mistake you have grown as a person.

Didn't get messed up at Bob Dylan day last week, did ya? We all learn from our mistakes, I made a lot in my life also. Glad I made more good decisions than bad.

yes there was a definate lesson learned. Paw paw, no it was the weekend before dylan days, so i could not really enjoy it since there are certain places I needed to stay away from in order to not head back to the cozy little place i spent a weekend in. definately learned my lesson and will no longer be doing anything that stupid.
