Smallest tire on a 18x10 wheel

I'm just curious what would the smallest tire you could put on an 18x10 wheel. Do they make a 31 inch tire that fits on a rim this large. Is running a 325/60/18 hard on components of a 2004-08 F150 FX4. Thanks.

I'd go with a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) tire personally. You could aslo go with a 33x12.50-18 tire. You are only talking about 1/2 or 3/4 inch difference in tire width so I don't think you will notice any difference in wear and tear. Another option would be a 9 inch wide wheel which is more common.

What do you mean hard on components? I am about to get the same set up on my 06 but might go a different route.

The more the tire/wheel combo "sticks out", the more leverage they have on steering and suspension components which increases wear and tear.
