my 305/70/17s don't rub unless im at a gnarly angle flexin her out! The Toyo mts are a nice tire but you could go with the look a like Cooper STT.
looking for expert opinions what do you think of this set-up are those tires the same height as the 295s i was considering and will i have any fitment problems ...it seems the more i read the more confused i get lol, check it out and let me know.

I believe it's 4.5. I'd contact Helo and make sure, but most aftermarket wheels for our trucks have 4.5 inches of bs. As for tires, if you have a 4x4, I'd go with a 305/70-16 (33x12.50). You will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower plastic valance. I have pics of this in my gallary.
if i buy them as a package they come with 285/75/16 whats the differenced in size with a 305/70 and a 285/75 are there any advantages to going with a smaller rim?

Basically a 33x11.50 vs a 33x12.50 tire. The 305's are just 10mm wider. The only real advantage of a smaller wheel is cost and increased offroad performace.

so if i find a 16x10 wheel and a 305/70/16 they will fit no problem as long as they have a minimum of 4.5 inch bs, and only minor trimming of the valance? whats the best way to trim the valance?Originally Posted by wandell

Yes, that combo will look/work great.
As for the valance, I trimmed mine with my pocket knife. A box cutter, dremel will also work. I have some pics in my gallary.
