my 305/70/17s don't rub unless im at a gnarly angle flexin her out! The Toyo mts are a nice tire but you could go with the look a like Cooper STT.

Which size Helo wheel do you want to use? And what is the backspacing?

I believe it's 4.5. I'd contact Helo and make sure, but most aftermarket wheels for our trucks have 4.5 inches of bs. As for tires, if you have a 4x4, I'd go with a 305/70-16 (33x12.50). You will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower plastic valance. I have pics of this in my gallary.

Basically a 33x11.50 vs a 33x12.50 tire. The 305's are just 10mm wider. The only real advantage of a smaller wheel is cost and increased offroad performace.

so if i find a 16x10 wheel and a 305/70/16 they will fit no problem as long as they have a minimum of 4.5 inch bs, and only minor trimming of the valance? whats the best way to trim the valance?

you will be fine! I cut mine on a bronco II with an air power grinder just make sure it blends.

i want the 16x10 Helo Maxx 6 Black then around the lip where it looks like brushed alum. i am going to put the camoclad Graphics!

You truck will look good IMHO

ok wandell think this will be the last question...lol here is my potential setup HE791 MAXX 16x10
backspace 4.52
offset -24
bolt pattern 5x135
toyo mt 305/70/16

now other then trimming the valance does that look ok? how far will they stick out vs stock.

p.s. you have made me a smarter man about rims and tires and for that i thank you!!!

Yes, that combo will look/work great.
As for the valance, I trimmed mine with my pocket knife. A box cutter, dremel will also work. I have some pics in my gallary.
