So it wouldn't be a good idea to put KM2's (35x12.5R17) or the Toyo OC's (35x12.5R17LT) on them then correct? What width are the 18" rims? I'm getting a Rancho 4" lift and I'd like to keep the stock rims if at all possible. Should I be looking at 33's instead? Thanks.

Is anyone running 35's on the stock 17" rims? How safe is it?

12.5" wide should be fine.

You should be fine with the 12.5 even though the rim is only 7.5. Wandell will know for sure but i believe there are many others on here who have that set up and they are running just fine.

The 18" rims are the same width as the 17's...txdhunt3r is right, SEVERAL members are running that setup with no problems.

How about premature/uneven tire wear? Will these tires be bulged due to the narrower rim?

That is the only concern. You will have to keep an eye on the air pressure to make sure the center portion of the tire's tread doesn't wear faster than the outer edges. I'd stay in the 35-40 psi range for daily driving.
