Suggestions Please

I have a 2004 4x4 Ford F150 Lariat with a 2" level kit and I am going to keep the stock 18" wheels. I want to go with the BFG 35 12.5 but I am a little concerned with rubbing. I have read on this board a thousand times that they will rub at full lock but what about rubbing while off road. I don't want the 35's to get into the fenders etc... I do not do anything extreme as far as 4 wheelin goes. Normally I take it very easy and go through/over ditches, ruts, minor mud etc while hunting. Thank you for any suggestions / opinions.

You should be fine. If you are a hard core off roader, you could go with the slightly smaller 305/65-18 (34x12.50).

Thank you both. The 35's should be on the truck in a few days. Now I am trying to decide if I want the blackwalls out or the White letters out. The truck is white....I have had tires both ways and tend to prefer black but for some reason I am favoring the white walls. Any suggestions/pics?

When I'm paying close to $300 per tire, you better believe those white letters are going to be out!

Here's a pic with white letters out on a member's truck:

And here's member Smitty'sLariat with the black letters out:

Both of those are 305/65/18's

The 80's are over. Let the white letters go away in peace with mullets, parachute pants and muscle shirts.
