325 Nitto

Looking to get new rims and tires. I love the XD Monsters. Considering the Nitto Grapplers . Can I fit a 325/65R18 on my 2006 FX4? Any rubbing issues? Also difference between the /65 and the /60? Just more sidewall on the 65?? Any thoughts are appreciated. I asked at a local tire shop and the salesman "thought" the biggest tire on the 18 rim could be a 305 but "I cant guarantee it" So much for shopping locally. Any suggestions on an online dealer for tire/rim packages?

Hey, i dont want to be the guy to tell you to do a search, but this exact tire issue is covered a million times, almost to a point where your head will start to spin. I can tell you that the 325/60r18 is a 33 inch and 325/65r18 is a 35. Also I know that people are putting 35 on stock rims (not sure if you can put a 325 on a stock rim though). If you go aftermarket wheels you can only go with a 33.
I just bought a set of tires and wheels from www.rimzoneonline.com but if you look on ebay you can get a better price from the same store. I ended up calling and got some 18x9 XD 797s with 325/65r18 toyo mts for 1925 delivered.

Hope that helped

As a general rule, if you add a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit to a new 4x4, you can fit a 35x12.50 using the oem wheels or 33's with an aftermarket wheel. A 325/60-18 is basically a 33x13.00 tire and a 325/65-18 is basically a 35x13.00 tire. Both are too wide for the oem 18x7.5 inch wide wheels. I'd go with the 325/60-18's and an 18x9 inch wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacings.
