New tire sizes?

Hey i got an 2005 F-150 XLT 5.4 4x4 Scab and was wondering what size tires to go with once i get my 2" leveling kit. Somebody said 33's would work but i dont know sh*t. If you could give me the actual dimensions like the xxx/xx/Rxx numbers that would be great thanks for the help.

Jake

i run 285-70-17's without a leveling kit, which is about a 32.75" tire. you should fit a 35" with the kit. i have a 2" kit here but not installed yet. then come the 35"s.

are you running 17 or 18" rims?
315-70-17= 34.4"
325-65-18= 34.6"

not exactly, but close.

As a general rule with a leveling kit on a 4x4, you can fit 35x12.50's with the oem wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels.

im running a 2'' levelin kit with mickey thompsons baja claw 325/60/18's which are 33.4''x13.5 on american racing clash's 18x9 with 4.5 bs.. i had to trim the bottom of the bumper and i still rub in the back and in the process of tryin to get it to stop. but theres no way your gettin 35's on that with jus a leveling kit youll need a 3'' body lift then yea you got them

you actually can fit 35x12.50's on a leveled 4x4 with the stock rims with little to no rubbing. kipp, you are running a 13'' tire on a 9'' wide rim with 1'' less backspacing than stock, so it sticks out an inch further, that is the trick to getting 35's (or bigger tires period) on a truck, getting the rim specs and tire width and everything just right.
