so I just put my wheels back on after having them stored all winter. I noticed a spot on one of my wheels. Its light brown in color like the chrome is stained and it will not wash off. These wheels are practically brand new; i got them last summer.I washed and dried my wheels before I stored them and I washed, dried, and polished them when i put them back on. The spot was not there when I stored them. Any suggestions of what might have happened? Anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do? The spot isnt real big I guess i'm just too ****

 

Try some Mother's chrome polish.

 

I had mine on all winter and washed them every so often and I noticed I had little brown spots on them. I scrubbed them to find that whatever it was had eaten through the chrome.

I guess I have to pick up some new rims.
