Need help w/selecting corrent lugs..

I'm getting a set of 2003 20" HD wheels (14mm) for my 99 Lariat 4x2 (12mm) truck.

I've heard that I can't use my 12mm acorn lugs for holding the 20" wheels on my 99' truck.
The wheel hubcenters as I understand but now which lugs to use?

So, which are the correct lugs to use for the 14mm 20" HD wheels going onto a 99' 12mm studs?

Which keyed locking lug will also work for this set up?

Thanks in advance

I was under the impression the Harley wheels used the same style lugnuts, just a different size.

Hey wandell,
the 12mm stock lugs on 99' Lariat I believe are acorn shaped.
Don't know the shape of the 14mm lugs on the OEM 20" HD wheels but was told that shouldn't use acorn lugs?
Something to do with the hole size of the HD 20" wheels I believe.

Anyway, I need to know so I can purchase what's gonna work along with locking lugs.

Is there anyone who knows for sure what will work or how can I go about finding out?

Thanks for your reply, any other thoughts are appreciated!

The lugnuts on the 98-03, whether 12mm or 14mm, were not acorn style. The were the flat bottomed. At least the OEs were. If you have acorns on now, then the are aftermarket.

kingfish,
Thanks for the info as I'll have to take a lug off to confirm.

Thanks again
