Rim Size

Hey guys. I am getting an 04 F150 extended cab 4x4 and am going to do a 2.5in AS lift. I am going to put 35-12.5-17 BFG KM2's on it because they look like an amazing tire. My question is what is the stock rim size for the 04 F150's? I am not sure if they are 17in or 18in. I need to know if i can fit those on or if I need to buy some American Racing Rims. thanks

Depends on your trim package. Just read the sidewall.

They come with 17 and 18 inch wheels that are 7 1/2 inches wide.

My 04 XLT rims are 17x7.5" but like others said they did come with 18" also. If you do decide to go with 35s with only a leveling kit then you will need to either use the stock wheels or get aftermarket wheels with VERY similar specs.

I'm pretty sure PawPaw got aftermarket wheels with the 35s and made it work, maybe he could help you more than I can.

My truck came with 18" Lariat wheels, I was so limited about 3 yrs. ago trying to get 18" tires I went down to 17's and had a better selection at that time. Either way 18 or 17" it's better to stick with an 8" wide wheel with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing to run the 35's. The more they stick out in the front the more chances they will rub.

If you dont want rubbing issues then stay with a wheel that will be close to your factory spec wheels. The offset you should stay with is around +35 to
+42. let me kbnow if i can do anything for you, we carry tons of wheel and tire packages.
