Pads?

What is the difference between the Hawk Ceramic and the hawk LTS pads? I have a 2004 f150 with 37 inch tires. Which would be better? I will be using powerslot rotors. Thank you in advance for any and all replies or opinions!

I am not sure of the differences between the LTS and Ceramic's, but I do know that the Centrix Posi Quiet pads have been rated higher than the Hawk pads. My brake supplier stopped carrying Hawk because the Centrix were killing the hawk's in sales.

I can get you both powerslot and centrix if you would like.

Are you looking to do fronts and rears? I will get you pricing and PM you.

quick--Not to thread-jack, but im in the same boat. My 05 w/ 37's is in need of a brake job, I had absolutely no pad left when I pulled them today, so ill need rotors. I went ahead and ordered powerslots, but now im thinking of sending them back and just having the stocks turned? what do you think?

I heard that if you have them turned that they will warp or wear fast (I read it somewhere on here) and I do not feel like replacing them again anytime soon. I would also like to see if there is any noticeable diff. with the slotted rotors and different pads. Why are you thinking about sending them back?

just to use the 450 bucks on something else....Im trying to pull off a sound system and s/c this summer so every bit of savings counts....plus I dont think I really need them...yet...my rotors have never been turned, and just got replaced at 20k under the TSB. the truck now has 45k.
