TPMS with new wheels

I have read through alot of old TPMS threads and aftermarket wheels and have seen where one guy used double sided tape and safety wire.

Is it possible to just superglue the sensor to the inside of the wheel and run safety wire?

I'm pretty sure "Super Glue" will not work. Super glue is a cynoacrilate product that instantly cures in the absence of air (put some on your fingers and press them together to see what I mean). Super glue by nature is not very resilient (it is brittle) and lacks gap-filling characteristics. If you would use Super glue on the sensors that would likely fly off from the centrifugal force within a short period of time.

I think if you could find some 3M foam 2-sided tape to replace the factory tape, and clean the surfaces with alcohol, and make sure the wheel is warm (over 65 degrees), and THEN several wraps of safety wire you might be okay. I would just get the replacement "radiator clamps" that I've heard the Tire Rack has.
