I think BFG A/T's, Nitto Terra Grapplers, and Toyo Open Country A/T's are about the most common all terrains on here, and they're all great tires.
You can't really go wrong with any of them.

i love my BFG's A/T but the nittos and toyos are great tires too, also take a look at Mickey Thompson ATZ, and procomp extreme a/t.

I put on 285x70x17's BFG's All Terrain KO's on last October when I ditched the crappy Ameritracs........Wow I still love them, what a great tire....quiet on the highway, tough as nails off road! I spent $1000.00 mounted & balanced. Best all around tire out there IMHO!.........

ive heard that the procomp at is hard to balance/keep balanced. I have Toyo Open Country ATs and love em.

but the three big ones are BFG, Toyo, and Nitto! you wont go wrong with any of those three!

I haven't had any problems balancing my Procomp AT's maybe the guy just got a bad set.

I love em and they look pretty aggressive too for an AT

I'd recommend the BFG AT KO, Toyo AT, Nitto Terra Grappler or Pro COmp Xtreme AT.

Nitto Terra Grapplers here. No problems. I also travel to the beach alot. Pulling out stuck 2wd's is a big thing around here. Not bad $$ either!

My cousin has the BFG A/T on his H2 and got 60k out of them and he does a lot of four wheeling and tows a 30ft camper. He swears by them. I have the Nitto T/G only 6k on them and they look brand new. I dont know if I will get 60k but they work great on the beach with out airing down and very quiet on the road.
