Max tire size question

I was wondering what would be the max tire size that I could put on my 2wd 1997 f150 with a 16" rim?

Also what is the max with a 2" body lift? Or 3".

You can fit a 285/75-16 stock, but it is extremely tight. A 265/75-16 is a better fit stock. If you add a body lift you can fith 285's or 305/70-16's.
