18 x 9 Moto Metal 951 Backspacing Question

Hi all,

I have a 2006 F150 Screw 4x4 with a 2.5" AS leveling kit and with an add a leaf for the rear.

I am purchasing the Moto Metal 18x9 chrome wheels along with the BFG AT w size 305/65r18(33.7x 12.0). The dilema I am having is with the back spacing. They offer three different size backspacing options. I am looking at either the 4.53" or the 5.71" back spacing. 1) -12mm off set/4.53" backspace 2) +18mm off set/5.71" backspace

I will not be putting on aftermarket fender flares so I don't want them sticking out too far, but I do want them to stick out a little further than the stock setup. My stock setup are the 17x7.5 with the 255/70/17 and I don't know what the factory backspacing is(have't popped a wheel off yet to measure).

I appreciate any information and insite you can provide as to what would work based on what I'm looking at.

Thanks!

Gerry

The stock wheels have a 5 1/2 inch backspace. A 9" wheel with 5.71 inches of backspace will stick out about 1 1/4" more than stock. Ought to be about right with those tires.

I agree. That's the one I'd go with.

The +18 will stick out a little further than you stock wheels.
The -12 will stick out a good bit past the +18s about an extra inch.
If you have any other questions feel free to hit me up and i can get yu set up with the correct wheel for your truck.
