I just bought 275/70/r18 BF Good Rugged trail A/t for my truck. They had a sweet deal at tire rack for $122 per tire. I've had trouble finding the stock size around town so, I jumped all over it. WIll I have trouble getting these to fit? I have the 2 inch leveling kit in the front but I remember the 275/65/18 rubbed just a hair. Whats your thoughts?

The 275-65-18's rubbed ? They shouldn't rub at all with no leveling kit. That is the stock size my truck came with. Did the 18's come with your truck or did you upgrade? Are you using stock wheels ? It sounds maybe your offset is wrong...

 

I take that back...I think they rubbed before the leveling kit. I cant remember becuase its been like three years and now the tires are bald and they dont rub at all. Do you think I will have trouble running the inch taller tires?

 

Again, they should not have rubbed with or without the leveling kit. I had the 275/65R18 on my 04, no leveling kit and no rubbing. If they were rubbing, then you have some other kind of problem.

The 275/70R18 is a 33" tire. As long as you are using them on an OE wheel, then it should not rub even without the leveling kit.
