305's

I have a set of 265/70r/16 AT's on my lariat and i have the torsion bars almost cranked and i have a good amount of travel and space left for a larger set of tires. But my question is can i get a set of 305's and expect alot of rub and clearance trouble? I have a friend with a early 90's chevy and he has a set of 305's on his truck but his torsion bars are cranked and my other friend just bought a hd and he has a set of 305's and he didnt even do anything with his torsion bars. Can i squeeze them under my truck as well?

sweet. i have a 16x8 rim on my truck as well and i was just worried about it. I have been looking on ebay and i have found these sets on there made by remington. they are called mud brutes. My at's arent wearing good and i do a good amount of work on a farm and im in mud most of the time so i wanted a wide foot print.
