I DID IT....35's on stock 17" rims on 4X2...
OK....so I jst got home and sorry for the night pics but for all you 4X2 guys I have found the formula to put 35's under your truck, with a small, small amout of trimming. I wanted the 4X4 look without the 4X4 price. I got a deal on these tires and I couldn't pass it up...150.00 for all 4 tires!! Heres what I had to do....2" leveling kit......2" wheel adapters off ebay...great tire shop guys! I will get some better pictures out tomorrow but just wanted to share that it can be done....I know some people don't like the wheel adapters but these were 80.00 for a pair on ebay and they are superb quality!! I have driven up to 70 mph and have had no problems what so ever....I drive 5 miles to work and pittle around base all day then 5 miles home so I don't plan on beating these up. Anyways let me know what you think....

adapters are bolt-on spacers. IMO wheels with big tires put enough stress on the studs, extending the pressure point out further onto the studs isn't the greatest of options. It will give you the look, I can't argue that.

Thanks guys for your concern...I am keeping a good ear on everything...I will probably pop the tires off this weekend and make sure evereything is still tight...so far though no problems and I will try to stay off the curbs...
