if you put a leveling kit in there maybe. and you will need alot of backspacing on your wheels.

you're definitely going to have to get a leveling kit for the front anyway

yeah, i now have a 07 4x4 with 37's , but at one time i had a 88 f150 4x2 with 38.5 boggers and could go anywhere i wanted just about.. i mean i would not do it again but it was fun lettin people think i was in 4 wheel high with a broken axel but then when i got out the nasty holes they would look under the truck and see what broke and noticed no drive shaft!!! thats the reason i did it

I have an 8" Rize kit with a 2.5" leveling kit and an AAL in the rear for 10.5". I have 39.5"' IROKs on my FX4 and once I trimmed the valence she still has an inch and a half before rubbing on my fenders. But I dont know about a 4x2.

i have a 05 f150 2wd with a 6" lift and 3" body lift. i have my coilovers cranked in the front 2.5"s. I tower over the 36's i am running. i am going to try 38's when these tires are done. but you def need more lift on a 2wd with just a 6" + 3" to clear 38's

Yea I thought it might be a little much to go 38"s it would definitly have to have 4.88s . Maybe I'll just go 6" with 35"s or maybe I'll just leave it on the factory 20"s and buy an 03-04 cobra? I don't know I change my mind daily.
THanks for the input.

I mean my truck has 6/3 with the 37's and alot of people think it looks good!!! and it does but i really want to go higher.... i mean it sit nice with the 20's. i dont know if you could use the stock 20's becausee i could not when i got mine lifted, lucky i had the 20's already... i just didn't have tires yet and the upper control arm/ball joint woul;d rub on the rims, just to let you know. i have more pic on my myspace if your on there!!
