ABS Light is on!

My old mans 2001 Ford F-150 supercrew Had the ABS light come on and stayed on this morning. Anyone know what need to be fixed?

Hi.

The #1 most common problem is the rear ABS sensor, on top of the diff pumpkin.

Approx $20 @ Ford for a new one.

After that, you likely will need to get it diagnosed, as it could be either front wheel sensor, wire chafing/break, or the ABS pump/ control unit itelf.

I hope its the rear ABS sensor if it is the ABS pump/ control unit it gonna cost a fortune then!

If its not the rear, it may be the front 70 dollars to fix...that is if your truck has 4 wheel ABS.
